Zabou recently travelled to Paris and painted in the district of Le Marais with the help of Le Mur Du Marais. Her mural is centred around the portrait of Yuvali Theis, a Dutch photographer, who is resting her head on her hand and waiting. Her artwork is about boredom (with a hint of sadness), about being in lockdown or curfew for some, and waiting for change. Special measures became the new normal. Weeks became months, months became a year.
