To start the new year, Zabou painted a portrait of the main character of the TV series ‘The Queen’s Gambit‘, Beth, played by actress Anya Taylor Joy. The series tells the story of a girl who, while growing up in an orphanage, becomes an international chess champion. Her success is darkened by drug and alcohol addiction. The artwork represents the inspiring Beth holding the queen piece while looking straight ahead of her, determined to win. The spot was provided by VIP Graffiti.
