To celebrate its 12th birthday, the ‘Hit The North’ Street Art Festival, organised by Seedhead Arts, welcomed its most impressive roster yet: over 60 artists from across the UK, Ireland and internationally took part with in the event in Belfast. Zabou was invited to paint a tall wall in the heart of the city, overlooking Buoy Park and the Belfast Cathedral. The French artist painted a portrait of a young woman, modeled by Mimi, holding flowers. Her heart broken, she waited for so long that the flowers started to wilt…

 

Pour célébrer sa 12e édition, le festival de street art ‘Hit The North’ à Belfast en Irlande du Nord, organisé par Seedhead Arts, a reçu plus de 60 artistes locaux et internationaux. Zabou était invitée à peindre un grand mur au coeur de la ville, surplombant le Buoy Park et la Cathédrale. L’artiste française a peint le portrait d’une jeune femme, d’après sa modèle Mimi, tenant des fleurs à la main. Le coeur brisé, elle a attendu si longtemps que les fleurs se sont fanées…
