Zabou was commissioned to create a special mural for the National Breastfeeding Week in Ireland, which took place during the first week of October 2023. The event launched a string of initiatives by the HSE and Healthy Waterford to support parents, and the artwork itself was organised by The Walls Project. The French artist painted an uplifting and positive image which depicts new mother Annabelle breastfeeding her 5-months-old boy, Billy. The mural will hopefully participate to encourage and normalise breastfeeding in public spaces.

Zabou a créé une fresque spéciale à l’occasion de la Semaine Nationale de l’Allaitement en Irlande, qui a eu lieu début Octobre 2023. Une série d’initiatives en soutien aux parents par le HSE (système de santé irlandais) et Healthy Waterford ont été lancées en parallèle à cet évènement, et l’oeuvre elle-même fut organisée par The Walls Project. L’artiste française a peint une oeuvre positive et inspirante qui montre une nouvelle maman, Annabelle, en train d’allaiter Billy, son fils de 5 mois. Nous espérons que la fresque participera à encourager et normaliser l’allaitement dans l’espace public.
