Zabou was given carte blanche by Mother Kelly’s to paint their upcoming venue in Tottenham Hale. The artist decided to paint the portrait of another creative from the area, Mary AKA WxndrWxmn, an award-winning singer and entrepreneur from the area. Mary started The RecordShop, a social enterprise that aims to provide a safe space for young people to nurture their personal and professional skills through their music programme and facilities. Zabou depicted a vibrant and colourful scenery of Mary, singing and smiling, while surrounded by objects from the music studio (speakers, various vinyls and a mixing table). The large space will open to the public in a few weeks – so stay tuned!

Mother Kelly’s a donné à Zabou carte blanche pour investir leur prochain espace situé à Tottenham Hale. L’artiste a décidé de peindre le portrait d’une autre artiste du quartier, Mary AKA WxndrWxmn, chanteuse et entrepreneuse. Mary a fondé The RecordShop, une entreprise sociale qui donne un espace aux jeunes pour cultiver et développer leur compétences artistiques et musicales, grâce à leur équipement et un programme diversifié. Zabou a représenté une scène vibrante et colorée avec en son centre Mary, qui chante et sourit, entourée par des objets du studio musical (des enceintes, vinyles, une table de mixage). Cet énorme espace ouvrira dans quelques semaines au public – alors restez à l’écoute!
