The EmsSideGallery in Rheine, Germany invited Zabou to create a mural in the city centre. The artist painted a powerful image around the theme of kindness: a woman, Lena, standing in the cold and rain is being handed an umbrella by a stranger to protect herself. A reminder that small acts of kindness, in every day life, are important and lift each other up.

Le projet de l’EmsSideGallery, situé dans la municipalité de Rheine en Allemagne, a invité Zabou à réaliser une fresque dans le centre-ville. L’artiste a peint une image forte sur le thème de la bienveillance : on y voit une femme, Lena, se tenant debout dans le froid et la pluie lorsqu’un bon samaritain lui tend un parapluie pour la protéger des intempéries. Un message important en ces temps parfois sombres et incertains : il faut s’entraider, et cela commence dans les moments simples du quotidien.
