Zabou was commissioned by Peckham Levels to paint a portrait of a local inspirational hero: Leanne Pero. The mural is located in the alley surrounding the main building. After an online poll, Leanne was nominated by members of the community to be featured on the mural. She founded her first dance company 20 years ago and created community focused dance and performing arts initiatives to inspire young people. She also went through breast cancer at the age of 30 and created Black Women Rising, a charity rising awareness amongst survivors.
