The 6th edition of MuralFest is dedicated to the challenges that have followed the citizens of Kosovo since the ’99 exodus, their return and the difficulties they have had rebuilding the country. By addressing this topic, the festival intends to make a connection between the past and the future, and the importance of the contribution of young people in the development of the state. For this project, Zabou painted the portrait of 14 years-old Orik, the son of two refugees from the exodus who currently live in the U.K. The mural depicts Orik travelling back to the land, holding soil and a walking stick in his hands. Because he plays in a football team, he is proudly wearing his FFD Kosova T-shirt.
