The Angel Comedy Club, a venue hosting comedy shows every night, just opened its door this month. For the occasion, they invited me to brighten up their walls. I painted 6 portrait of iconic UK and international comedians: Charlie Chaplin, Richard Pryor, Rowan Aktinson, Victoria Wood, Eddie Izzard & Robin Williams. The playful artworks run all along the side of the venue and can be seen at all time.

I’ve been commissioned for the European Disability Week to paint a large mural in Altkirch (Alsace, France). The building is occupied by residents with mental health disabilities who selected my work for this project.

Despite the usual technical issues (broken lift and the horrid weather), the painting of the 12m high mural took place during 3 days. The design depicts a boy holding a lot of balloons and flying towards the sky. The original design featured a wheelchair however this was rejected by one of the sponsors.

The artwork sends a positif message to whoever is challenged with handicap and disability. Always stay positive and look up for a brighter future.
