This piece was a nice challenge: a perspective exercise on top of spraying in the dark! As the double shutters only go down from 19:00, I had to paint during the night (which looked quite suspicious, and triggered a courtesy visit from the police). Despite not seeing much I’m happy with the result, and the perspective effect works well.
The mural depicts two eyes looking straight ahead, watching the pedestrians. They are in a balaclava, a type of mask that only reveals part of the face. The image is inspired by a photo of the band Pussy Riot who are well known for their protests wearing colourful balaclavas. The sky pattern makes the image looks peaceful, while the inner revolt lays.
