Everyone has heard “Bang bang, my baby shot me down” from Nancy Sinatra.
This piece, painted on Andrews Road in East London, pictures two characters wearing bandanas and imitating pistols with their hands. The lady on the left is based on the photo of Jean Seberg, while the man on the right is inspired by a picture of American model Cykeem White. An interesting mix!
The wall was previously painted by myself and Sr.X before the council asked us to remove it (due to the swear words, oops!). It’s been given a new life now that those two iconic characters took centre stage.
